Family Reading Program

In order to help provide reading experiences for your child, we are pleased to offer the Head Start Family Reading Program. You can spend quality time reading with your child and earn books for your child to keep! It is easy to participate in the Family Reading Program. All you have to do is read to your child as often as you can. As you read, complete the reading list. The readers can be anyone - parents, grandparents, friends, or even older siblings. Return the list to your child’s teacher when complete. Children will receive one book for their home library, up to one book per week. This can be as many as 40 books a year. Read to your child as often as you can!
